My name is Dan Krueger from Germany, born 1952 in a small town called Stadthagen, close to Hannover in the state of Niedersachsen. But I grew up and went to school in Baden-Baden in the state of Baden-Württemberg, which is in southwest Germany. At TH University of Karlsruhe I studied Geology, what was very interesting, but most of the time I spent on the tennis courts playing and teaching tennis. There I earned much more money than all of my friends after their geology diploma.
So I preferred to start a tennis and golf teaching pro carreer. In order to learn from and work for the best I was in some tennis camps in the US in 1980/81, e.g. at Vic Braden’s Tennis Academy in Coto de Caza near Los Angeles, WCT Resort Lakeway near Austin/Texas and Harry Hopman’s famous drill tennis camp in Bradenton/Florida and had a look at many others like Bollitieri and was at Jim Loehrs camp in Tampa to learn more about psychological aspects of teaching tennis.
Of course close to all these wonderful places were golfcourses where I improved my playing and teaching golf as well, but by the way only.
Then I met a guy called Edgar Rhomberg. He, born in Austria, lived in Canda and was working for WCT (World Champion Tennis) USA in the late 70s and beginning 80s. WCT was a hughe company those days and planned to expand to the Eurpean market. Edgar as a born European was going to build up WCT tennis camps all over Europe, and I decided to join him.
Soon Edgar built his own “PRO-TENNIS” Camps and we had camps in Austria, Germany, former Jougoslavia, Malta, Spanish Islands of Ibiza, Menorca and Canary Islands of Teneriffa and Gan Canaria. I specialised on managing some of these camps, not so much teaching on the court any more. Canaries were my favorite islands, I lived there for some years.
In 1988 Edgar, me and some of our teaching pros vistited the USTA Tennis Teachers Conference in New York to find out about new trends on the market (and watch the US Open in Flushing Meadows of course). At the conference we found Bill Hastings stand showing his revolutionary “Tennis Match Computer” presenting match statistics never seen before.
I did not forese, that this meeting would change the rest of my life.
Edgar bought some of these laptops with the stats software, but none of us had any idea about computers these days. Crash after crash finally forced me to learn how to work with a computer, I was actually absulutely not interested in, in the beginning, I hated computers, never touched one ever before. Now all this changed, when I recognized the endless advantages (and nightmares) of computers.
In 1990 I took charge of one of our biggest camps in Walchsee /Austria. Here I met Sabine and she changed my whole life more than a computer. After living like a gypsy for years with always changing relationships I finally found the love of my life. I married Sabine in 1994 and we lived and worked together in Walchsee until 1996. There I met Chuck de Castro, Golf Headpro of the Kaiserwinkl Golfclub Kössen/Tyrol. He showed me a lot about playing and teaching golf and I spent more and more time with golf.
In the mid 90s there suddenly was a alarming decrease of tennis camp popularity. More and more of our clients went from tennis to golf. Edgar bought a Sportshotel couple of years ago in Ransbach / Germany and I decided to completely concentrate on the golf business and build my own public golfcourse close to his Hotel. The resort was ready in 1997 and since then I’m living an working here.
Due to my enforced computer skills I built my PRO-GOLF homepage and computerized all my bookkeeping and administration. Beeing online anyway in 2000 I accidently got involved in HYIP online, great opportunities to make some real fast money! It took me about $25.000 to find out here, what does not work: scams only. Gambling without a chance to win is … stupid. And making money with commissions luring others into scams is stinking money. I did quit that.
Recently I had a complicated right shoulder surgery (sinew avulsion), my right knee aches terribly because of arthrosis and my back’s sacral bone is damaged. It looks like my sports carrer is over, my body doesn’t serve me as it should anymore, time to move on to new ventures.
Over the years online I found many interesting contacts, so I came to the Internet Marketing Arena for real businesses making money online.
My goal is to leave Germany and go back to Canary Islands, where because of the climate my body is feeling much better. I will sell my golf resort in Germany and immigrate to a nice island property, where I can sit on my seaview balkony (without backaches) with my laptop and my lovely wife Sabine doing some smart business with you guys.
